I have been developing software professionally for over eighteen years. I especially enjoy building highly-scalable web applications.
I am a co-founder and COO of the Mormon Transhumanist Association, a non-profit dedicated to bridging gaps between secular and religious people, and to promoting practical faith in human exaltation through the charitable use of science and technology.
I enjoy languages, literature, poetry, history, philosophy, theology and music. I play the saxophone and clarinet well, and dabble on piano and guitar. I also enjoy singing, and have recently been getting into barbershop music. In addition to my native English, I speak fluent Portuguese, decent Norwegian, and passable Spanish.
